My doctor informed me that none of his patients were going to die of colon cancer and that the time had come for a colonoscopy. I rescheduled this thing about 5 times because I'm modest (o.k. so I'm just a big fat chicken). So why am I bringing this topic up on a blog for God's sake? To let anyone out there who is afraid to have this procedure done know...it is not that big of a deal. You will be so proud of yourself to finally do it (and you know you've been worrying about this for a long time) and that you might even feel empowered to make other long overdue changes in your life.
My last and only advice is to the little girl who scheduled my appointment...wherever you are honey....no, you can not take the prep while at work. I know you said it depended on my "comfort level," but that is a crock of shit (pun intended).
Speaking of....did you hear that the guy who wrote the "Please don't squeeze the Charmin" commercials died today? Watch the vintage commercials of Mr. Whipple.
